Virtual Therapy for Women, Trauma, and Reproductive Mental Health in Ohio & PSYPACT States
Finding the right therapist is an important decision, and understanding the financial side of care is part of that process. My goal is to be clear, transparent, and supportive, so you can focus on whether this feels like the right fit for you.
Contact me at ashea@greenampersandpsychology.com or 614-465-6954 to schedule.
I provide virtual psychotherapy services only to adults located in Ohio and in PSYPACT-participating states, in accordance with PSYPACT regulations.
My fees reflect advanced training and specialization in complex trauma, women’s mental health, and perinatal and reproductive mental health, as well as the time devoted to thoughtful assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and coordination of care. I strive to provide therapy that is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practice for clients in Ohio and PSYPACT states and territories.

Insurance Coverage
I am in-network with the following insurance plans:
Aetna
Meritain
Optum
UnitedHealthcare (UHC)
United Behavioral Health (UBH)
I am out-of-network with all other insurance plans.
Network status can differ even within the same insurance company. Please check with your individual plan to confirm my network status with your individual plan. If I am out-of-network for your plan, payment is due at the time of service.
I am happy to provide monthly superbills so you may seek out-of-network reimbursement directly from your insurance company. Reimbursement amounts vary by plan.
Good Faith Estimates
If you are self-paying (not using insurance), you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate under the federal No Surprises Act.
A Good Faith Estimate outlines the expected cost of therapy over a defined period of time (for example, 6 or 12 months of weekly or bi-weekly sessions). Because therapy is individualized, estimates may change if the frequency, focus, or length of care changes. You may request a Good Faith Estimate at any time.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of each session unless other arrangements have been made in advance. I accept major credit cards as well as HSA/FSA cards.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a $150 cancellation fee.
FAQs
What is PSYPACT?
PSYPACT is an interstate agreement that allows licensed psychologists to provide telepsychology services across participating states. This allows you to work with me virtually even if you are located outside Ohio, as long as your state participates in PSYPACT. 43 states and territories participate.
Can I use my insurance if I live outside Ohio?
Insurance coverage for PSYPACT services varies by plan and by state. Even if your insurance plan is one I am in-network with in Ohio, services provided across state lines may be considered out-of-network. I recommend contacting your insurance company directly to confirm coverage. Superbills are available upon request.
What is a therapy intensive?
A therapy intensive is a shorter-term, focused format of therapy that involves longer sessions over a shorter period of time (e.g., a single extended session or multiple sessions scheduled over several days/weeks). It allows for potentially more depth, increased momentum, and greater efficiency than traditional weekly therapy. Therapy intensives can be a good fit for people who feel stuck, want to focus on treating traumatic stress more quickly, and prefer concentrated work over weekly sessions. I can offer therapy intensives focusing on traumatic stress and grief, including complex trauma, childhood trauma, birth trauma, sexual trauma, pregnancy loss, infant loss, and other significant stressors.
Are therapy intensives covered by insurance? What’s the cost?
No. In most cases, therapy intensives are not covered by insurance and are offered as a self-pay service. The cost of a therapy intensive is individualized and depends on the length and structure of the intensive. Fees are discussed in advance and a Good Faith Estimate is availabe.
